This Privacy Policy explains how BIATRADER collects, uses and protects personal data when you use biatrader.com, our client dashboard and our services. We process personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under them.
01Data we collect
- Enquiries: name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address and the requirement you describe.
- Client accounts: dashboard username, password (stored only in hashed form), login times, strategy settings, order and trade logs.
- Broker connection: API keys or session tokens you authorise so your system can place and track orders in your own broker account.
- Payments: payer name, amount, date and transaction ID / UTR. We do not collect card numbers, UPI PINs or net-banking passwords.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device information recorded in server logs.
02How we use it
- To respond to enquiries, prepare quotations and deliver the services you ask for.
- To run your dashboard and connect your strategies to your broker account.
- To confirm payments, provide support and send service-related messages.
- To keep our systems secure and to meet legal obligations.
We process your data on the basis of your consent and for these legitimate purposes. We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
03Sharing
We share data only when needed: with your broker when you instruct us to connect your account, with hosting, VPS and email providers that operate our services, and with authorities when required by law.
04Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our client dashboard uses a session cookie to keep you signed in.
05Security
We use HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, access controls and per-client separation of strategies and data. No system is completely secure, so please keep your login details and broker access tokens confidential.
06Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law (for example, tax and accounting records). Trade logs are kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards unless you ask us to delete them, subject to legal requirements.
07Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, update or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, nominate another person to exercise your rights, and raise a grievance. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide some services.
08Children
Our services are not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
